The Wales Swimrun Information

Competitors: 100 teams and 50 individuals
Format: Originating in Sweden in 2002, Swimrun has gathered significant pace in the past 10 years. In 2014 the event was only held in Sweden, now 18 nations fly the Swimrun Flag. The Wales Swimrun will take place along The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Starting on the cliff tops above Freshwater East, the race will move east taking in Manorbier, Lydstep, Tenby and end in Saundersfoot Village. All running will be off-road following the Pembrokeshire Coast path with 4 feed stations positioned on the route. In Total, the event is just over 24 Kilometers of running and 7 Kilometers of swimming. MEN OPEN LADIES OPEN MIXED OPEN Wetsuits compulsory. Tow floats optional. All teams must not be more than 10m apart at a time during the race. (tied swims recommended) *Athletes with a registered disability will need to contact the race office to discuss whether the race is suitable and safe to enter
